Energy efficiency solutions for turnkey plants by implementing the technology developed by Microbiotech or by tailoring the existing technology for dielectric heating.

Microwave processing by tunnels requires custom designed for each product and production conditions, so that the role of Microbiotech ranges from the study of technical and economic viability delivery and commissioning of "turnkey" plants.

Microbiotech has developed an innovative engineering solution to reduce the length of the microwave tunnels, this allows treating large volumes of production considering the spatial conditions of each plant.

Microbiotech devotes special attention to wood applications, which are described in FEDEMCO presentation at the june 6, 2014

Wood Disinfection

Microbiotech is distributor in Spain for the Italian company Emitech that manufactures equipment for pallets disinfection by dielectric heating. This treatment was recently approved for ISPM-15 treatment approved for treatment ISMP-15 with the mark DH in accordance with standard FAO ISPM No. 15, and is equivalent to seal HT (standard ISPM-15). The competitive advantage of this method of disinfection is that lasts only 1 minute, versus the 30 minutes required with other technologies (see presentation).

  • 180-360 pallets / hour, expandable adding more lines for major productions
  • Equipped with various temperature sensors.
  • Adjustable forward speed, depending on the humidity conditions of pallets.
